Brussels, SANA-The European Union has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted Mar Elias Church in Damascus, which claimed numerous lives, describing the attack as “heinous and cowardly.”
In a statement published on its official website, the EU emphasized the urgent need to intensify efforts to confront the terrorist threat and to ensure the complete eradication of ISIS and other extremist groups.
The Union expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and affirmed its solidarity with the Syrian people, voicing support for all efforts by Syrian authorities to guarantee the security of all citizens without discrimination.
