Washington, March 5 (SANA) U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday that Iran must offer “unconditional surrender” for the war to end.
According to Agence France-Presse, Trump wrote on his “Truth Social” platform: “There will be no agreement with Iran except through unconditional surrender, adding that he intends to “make Iran great again,” promising to help rebuild the country’s economy if Tehran accepts his conditions and installs new leadership.
He added that the U.S. and its allies would assist Iran “from the brink of collapse” and make it “stronger and more prosperous,” saying this would require appointing “a great and acceptable leader.”
Trump also said his administration would seek broad influence in shaping Iran’s political future and play a role in choosing its next leader to secure the post-war phase.
