Damascus, March. 7 (SANA) The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned the Iranian attack targeting buildings in the Kingdom of Bahrain, calling it a blatant violation of the kingdom’s sovereignty and a threat to its security and stability.

The ministry noted that the targeted buildings house personnel from the Qatari Emiri Naval Forces participating in the Unified Naval Operations Center, under the Joint Military Command of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). It described the attack as a clear breach of Bahrain’s sovereignty and a threat to regional security.

The Syrian Arab Republic affirmed its full solidarity with the people of Bahrain and Qatar, standing by them against any aggression that violates their sovereignty or threatens their security.

Syria also reiterated its firm rejection of any hostile acts aimed at destabilizing the region and called for respect for the sovereignty of states to strengthen peace and stability in the region.
