US army strikes over 3,000 targets in first week of war on Iran, CENTCOM says

Washington, March. 7 (SANA) The United States announced that it struck more than 3,000 targets during the first week of the conflict with Iran.

According to a statement released Friday by the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), the targets included command and control centers, air defense systems, missile launch sites, as well as Iranian naval vessels and submarines.

CENTCOM Commander Admiral Brad Cooper said that the Iranian regime has attacked 12 countries across the Middle East and continues to deliberately target civilians.

He described such actions as unacceptable and said they would not go unanswered, pledging continued coordination with regional partners to confront the Iranian threat.

Since February 28, the United States and Israel have carried out ongoing strikes on Iranian territory, while Iran has responded with missile and drone attacks on Israel and has targeted several other countries in the region.
