Aleppo, Feb,03 (SANA) A new humanitarian and relief aid convoy arrived on Monday in Ain al-Arab city, in the Aleppo countryside of northwest Syria, consisting of 22 trucks in addition to a mobile medical clinic, under the supervision of the Aleppo Central Response Committee and in coordination with several United Nations organizations.
Farhad Khurto, a member of the executive office of Aleppo Governorate and deputy head of the Aleppo Central Response Committee, told SANA that “the third aid convoy was delivered today to Ain al-Arab city under the supervision of the Aleppo Central Response Committee, and in cooperation and coordination with United Nations organizations.”
Khurto said the convoy included 22 trucks loaded with relief, food and medical supplies, as well as children’s needs and pharmaceutical supplies for people with special needs, chronic diseases and urgent cases.
He added that the convoy “carries a message affirming that the state stands today, with all its institutions and cadres, alongside the people,” and forms part of ongoing state efforts to strengthen the humanitarian response in Ain al-Arab city and its countryside, amid rising service and health needs, within a plan by the Aleppo Central Response Committee to secure relief, food and medical support for residents.
