Damascus, SANA- Rains fell in most provinces a the heaviest amounts were 47mm in Tartous, 45mm in Homs, 40mm in Hama and 38mm in Lattakia, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform rain bulletin.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that skies will be between partly cloudy to cloudy and rainy in most areas. Rains fall heavily accompanied by thunder, particularly on the coastal, central and mountainous areas.
The Department warned against formation of floods in the valleys; the winds will be western of low to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be of moderate in amplitude.
Rains amounts during the past 24 hours to 7 o’clock on Tuesday morning according to the rain bulletin are as follows: Damascus and its countryside 21,5mm, Sweida 2,5mm,
Daraa 22mm, Quneitra 17mm, Homs 45mm, Hama 40mm, Tartous 47mm, Lattakia 38mm and in Aleppo 13mm.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 12/04, Daraa 14/05, Homs 18/05, Hama 18/05, Lattakia 21/11, Aleppo 13/04 and Deir Ezzor 16/05.
