Temperatures around average, hot weather prevails in eastern areas

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain around or slightly above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure from the southeast accompanied by a western air current in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general, but it will be misty and hot in the eastern areas, al-Jazira and al-Badia, high humidity prevails on the western areas.

The winds will be southwestern of low to moderate speed in the coastal areas, and western to northwestern of moderate to high speed on the other areas, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 36/19, Homs32/20, Hasaka 42/22, Lattakia 32/32, Aleppo 37/21 and Deir Ezzor 42/24.
