Damascus, SANA – Damascus University and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) signed a MoU for cooperation in the scientific and academic fields, exchanging expertise and holding joint scientific events.
Under the memorandum, the two parties will work within the capabilities available to strengthen and develop their cooperation through the exchange of scientific publications in the field of international law, particularly the International Humanitarian Law, and the exchange of information related to the activities held by oth sides in this regard.
The two sides will work on setting up joint scientific events, including seminars, workshops, conferences, forums and training sessions in the field of the International Humanitarian Law in Syria and the granting of certificates of attendance to participants.
The MoU will remain in force for two years and it can be renewed.
