ICRC-supported projects in Sweida discussed

Sweida, SANA – Sweida Governorate and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) discussed on Tuesday issues related to implementing some of the Committee’s projects in the southern province.

During a meeting with ICRC mission’s southern region official, deputy governor of Sweida Eng. Anwar Zein-Eddin hailed the efforts of the ICRC which has implemented more than 15 emergency projects in the sectors of water, electricity and sanitation in the province, particularly in the areas that see increasing numbers of displaced people.

The ICRC official, in turn, reviewed the implementation stages of some projects being carried out in coordination and cooperation with the electricity, water and sewerage establishments in Sweida.
