Sweida, SANA- Activities of the central celebration of International Children’s Day were launched on the theater of the Palace of Culture in Sweida, entitled “Small Hearts for a Great Homeland”.
The activities held by the Directorate of Child Culture at the Ministry of Culture included, on its first day, a theatrical and dancing show entitled “Magic Beans” by children, adolescents and youth.
The show included an interactive theatre, shadow play, music and singing, with the participation of Haneen Theater Group, children and adolescents from the School of Dance and Theater Arts, directed by Firas Hatem.
Director of Culture in Sweida, Layla Abu Fakhr noted that this ceremony comes upon the directives of the Ministry of Culture to pay attention to children and highlight the promotion of ideals and moral values in them through the projects of the Directorate of Child Culture aimed at embracing and nurturing talents.
The festive activities, which will last until the 31st of this July, include a singing concert presented by the children of al-Farah Choir, an interactive theatrical show and a dancing sports show, in addition to interactive reading circles for young children and a cinematic show for children.
