Hama, SANA- More than 2000 displaced persons due to the attacks by terrorist organizations returned to their homes in Kakab village after signing a local reconciliation in the village which is located about 20 km to the north of Hama city.
Locals in the village expressed support to the reconciliation efforts after defeating terrorism and expressed confidence in the ability of the Syrian Arab Army to restore stability and security to all areas, emphasizing standing in the face of the terrorist organizations that are trying to terrorize the locals.
According to the reconciliation agreement signed in the village, a number of militants handed over their arms and pledged to defend the village and fight terrorist organizations that are attacking the locals.
Head of the Russian reconciliation center Sergey Ivanov said that this reconciliation is part of Russia’s efforts in coordination with the Syrian government to expand local reconciliation and restore security and stability to more villages and towns in the Syrian provinces.
Ivanov pointed out that Russia is working to provide all possible forms of humanitarian aid in areas that joined the cessation of hostilities agreement.
Ahmad Al-Mubarak, member of the committee of local reconciliations in Hama said that Syria is fighting terrorism on behalf of the entire world.
Recently, Russia has offered large amounts of humanitarian aid to dozens of towns in various Syrian provinces and distributed them in cooperation and coordination with the parties concerned in Syria to ensure their access to people who need them.
