Aleppo, SANA-A medical shipment delivered by the Health Ministry arrived on Wednesday to Aleppo province, including more than 6 tons of medicines and 5 ambulances to support the medical system in the province.
In a press statement, Dr. Mohamed Hazouri, head of Aleppo Health Directorate, said that the shipment includes antibiotics, antipyretics, blood thinners and more than 50 kinds of medicines.
He said the shipment comes to demonstrate the Ministry’s keenness to meet the needs of the health sector in Aleppo, especially in light of the current circumstances and the suffering of the people of Aleppo due to the frequent terrorist attacks.
He added that the ambulances will be put immediately in the service of citizens in order to ensure speed in rescuing people especially during the times of terrorist attacks.
The residential neighborhoods in the city of Aleppo are targets of continuous terrorist attacks which have claimed the lives of dozens of citizens and injured many others.
