Homs, SANA – Authorities in Homs province arrested a gang of three people who impersonate security personnel and commit robbery at gunpoint.
A source at the Police Command of Homs told SANA that the gang’s members admitted to having robbed a jewelry store in an area in the countryside of the province, noting that some of the stolen jewelry were restored.
Investigations are underway to identify the three-member gang’s connections and to try to retrieve the rest of the stolen jewelry, the source added.
On Monday, security forces arrested a drug pusher in Homs city and confiscated 3.5 kg of drugs that were in his house.
