Damascus, SANA – The People’s Assembly passed on Thursday a bill extending a paragraph within Law no. 11 for 2014 exempting loans granted by the Agricultural Cooperative Bank from interests and late payment fees and fines.
The paragraph extended stipulates for paying a payment by 31/12/2015.
The bill passed today aims at supporting farmers who have been affected by the drought that hit the 2013-2014 agricultural season, Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform Ahmad al-Qadiri said.
