Syria, Mauritania discuss ways to develop and bolster bilateral relations 

Nouakchott, SANA- Syria and Mauritania have discussed ways to develop and strengthen relations between the two brotherly countries in a way that would reflect positively on their interests and the well-being of their people and makes optimal use of the opportunities and advantages available to them in various fields.

That came during a meeting that brought together Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mohamed Ould Bilal Massoud and Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic in Nouakchott, Qussai Mustafa.

The two sides agreed to expedite the completion of the procedures for ratifying draft agreements, memorandums of understanding and executive programs between the two countries, in implementation of the directives of President Bashar al-Assad, President of the Syrian Arab Republic, and Mohamed Ould Cheikh AI- Ghazouani, President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

In turn, Ambassador Mustafa thanked the Islamic Republic of Mauritania for its honorable positions on the war on Syria and its defense of the issues of the Arab and Islamic nations.
