Homs, SANA – More than 1000 title displayed in the 1st exhibition for curriculum and textbooks held at the Higher Institute for Languages (HIL) in Homs.
Rector of al-Baath University in Homs Mufid Subuh stressed the importance of the exhibitions held constantly by the university in showcasing new editions and books as they offer the students a chance to buy new books with appropriate price.
Dean of HIL Jihad Salloum said the exhibition encompasses nearly 1000 books in English, French and Persian with the aim of shedding light on series of curriculum and books on various domains.
Head of the teaching staff members at the university Sharif Shahin said … the book is the basic source for information whatever the electronic means were.
Participants stressed the importance of the exhibition as it focus of the books which teach foreign languages.
The exhibition was organized by the Teachers Union Branch at al-Baath University with participation of a number of publishers.
