Damascus , SANA – Syria’s women’s junior table tennis team is participating in al-Fajr Cup International Table Tennis Tournament whose competitions starts today in Iran.
Head of the Syrian mission Rasha Mihrez said the team had conducted a training camp at Tishreen Sports Hall in preparation for the competition, which will last till December, 20th.
Speaking to SANA sports reporter, she added that Coach Suha Annous has been doing her best to improve the players’ performance and introduce them to new movements and methods that could help them perform at their best level and achieve high scores in the tournament.
The team includes Suzan Mohammad, Hiba al-Laja, Raghad Qassam, Iman Mohammad, Wuroud Ibrahim, Zeina Asaad and Maysa al-Hafi.
