Damascus, SANA, The Meteorology Department on Monday said that weather is clear to partly cloudy and scattered showers of rain are expected over the eastern and al-Jazira areas.
Temperatures will be around average as the country is affected by a weak high pressure accompanied with northern western streams in the upper layers of the atmosphere, the department added.
Meanwhile, Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform’s rain bulletin of the last 24 hours till 07:00 this morning said ..the highest rainfalls reached 17mm in Sweida and Bosra cities in Sweida and Daraa provinces and 16mm in Qamichli in Hasaka province.
The bulletin pointed out that rainfalls amounts reached to 3,5mm in al-Haramoon in Damascus Countryside, 4mm in the city of Quneitra in Quneitra province, 5mm in Shatta in Hama province and 2mm in the city of Aleppo.
