Moscow, SANA- Head of the Russian Federal Center for the Prevention and Control of the Spread of AIDS at the Central Institute of Epidemiology, Vadim Pokrovsky has expected that next year, the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) will disappear.
Pokrovsky, who is also a member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, was quoted by Russia Today website as saying that the rate of the virus outbreak will slow down in the year 2021, and it will start to disappear.
He said: “Next year we will witness the end of the Coronavirus pandemic, and everyone will breathe a sigh of relief.”
As of last night, the world recorded 81,104,164 coronavirus infections and 177,1163 deaths, while the total recoveries from the virus have reached up to 57,223,546 cases.
