Health Ministry: 101 new coronavirus cases recorded in Syria, 48 patients recover, 9 pass away

Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry on Sunday announced that 101 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 48 coronavirus patients recovered and 9 others passed away.

In a statement, the Ministry noted that the total number of the coronavirus infections registered in Syria has reached 11,033 cases till now, of which 5,141 cases have recovered and 678 have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was registered in Syria on March 22^nd in a person who came from abroad while the first coronavirus death was recorded on the 29^th of the same month.
