Beirut, SANA- Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has asserted that the steadfastness of Syria’s people, army and leadership has thwarted the terrorist war waged against the country from about ten years.
Interviewed by al-Mayadeen TV Channel last night, Nasrallah noted that Syria has faced a fierce war due to its national stances, particularly towards the Palestinian cause and due to its strategic location.
He added that the steadfastness of the Syrian people and their standing by their army and leadership has been the basis for thwarting the war launched against their country, in addition to the role of Syria’s allies.
Nasrallah said that the capabilities of the resistance axis today have become many times larger what they used to be years ago, saying “our axis has been able to impose its presence strongly in all the region and to achieve victories, and today it is stronger than ever.”
He affirmed the readiness of the Lebanese national resistance and its ability to hit any target of the Israeli enemy across the occupied Palestinian territory as it possesses accurate rockets and weapons which are able to achieve that, asserting that it will retaliate to any aggression that could be launched by the Israeli enemy.
