Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will drop, yet they will remain above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the south and accompanied by relatively wet southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general and there will be an opportunity for thundershower in different areas, while the weather will be relatively cold at night, and fog is expected over the mountains, and in the inland and southern areas.
The wind will be southeasterly in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badia “semi-desert” regions, while it will be southwesterly in the other areas with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 27/14, Daraa 27/15, Homs 25/16, Lattakia 26/20, Aleppo 25/17 and Deir Ezzor 30/16.
