Hasaka, SANA- Five militants from the US occupation-backed QSD militia were killed including two of the militia’s leaders and others were injured as fire was opened on them by unidentified persons in Hasaka City and its countryside and in Deir Ezzor Countryside, in a time when the attacks against QSD positions in the Syrian al-Jazeera region have witnessed an escalation recently.
Local sources in Hasaka said that an explosive device planted in the car of one of the militia’s leaders by unidentified persons on Saturday evening went off as he was killed and others who were accompanying him were killed, and they were rushed to field hospitals affiliated to the militia in the region.
In Marqada town in the southern countryside another leader of the QSD militia was killed after unidentified persons opened fire on him in the livestock market in the town while one of the militia’s militants was killed in al-Houl town in the eastern countryside after unknown persons opened fire on him.
Meanwhile, in Deir Ezzor far eastern countryside, local sources affirmed that “two QSD militants were killed in a blast of an explosive device planted in a military car that was moving in the vicinity of al-Souseh town in al-Bokmal area.
On Friday, two QSD militants were killed after an attack that targeted a checkpoint for the militia in Marqada town, south of Hasaka and one of their positions in Hajin City in Deir Ezzor eastern countryside.
