Capitals, SANA- According to latest statistics of Worldometers Website, the novel coronavirus “COVID-19” pandemic has claimed the lives of 1,200,193 persons all over the world since its appearance last December.
The website added that the total number of the worldwide coronavirus infections has reached till now up to 46,373,777 while the recoveries have amounted to 33,483,516.
The US remained on the top of worst-hit countries in terms of the number of infections and fatalities as it has recorded 236,072 deaths out of 9,402,590 infections.
Meanwhile India comes in the second place with 122,149 deaths out of 8,182,881 infections, then Brazil with 159,902 deaths out of 5,535,605 infections.
