Homs, SANA -Al-Sayeh mountain is about 1000 meters above the sea level in a charming area rich with all vocabularies of natural beauty that makes it a unique landmark for the tourists who visit it from different areas looking for calm and relax amid atmospheres of charming and it is located in the west of Homs province.
The mountain has a religious status in addition to its tourism one dating back to thousands of years.
Head of al-Nasera Municipality, Milad Hjey, said that al-Sayeh mountain in al-Nasera village overlooks villages of Wadi al-Nasara and archeological landmarks, such as Patriarchal Monastery of Saint George and Krak des Chevaliers and the Syrian coastal areas.
Hjey noted that al-Sayeh mountain acquired a new importance status, particularly after establishing the church of Our Lady and statue of valley Lady on the top of the mountain.
He indicated that there are several ancient religious buildings on the top of mountain like Jeb al-Raes and Jourit al-Nazour .
