Fire erupted in Hub Namrah extinguished

Homs, SANA- Homs Firefighting Brigade extinguished a fire erupted in the forest areas in Hub Namrah village in the western countryside of Homs Province.

Commander of Homs Firefighting Brigade Othman Juda told SANA reporter in a statement that  members of the firefighting team are exerting efforts to control the fire erupted in al-Joweikhat  village, indicating that the fire,  which was erupted in the forestry lands in Qurb Ali, extends to wide areas as the heavy vehicles and the firefighting teams are working on opening the roads among the forestry sites in the village to encircle the fire and prevent its spreading.

The fire was renewed in the village according to colonel Juda this morning after extinguishing it last night.

Juda stressed that the firefighting teams headed to the site and are dealing with the fire in order to control it and prevent its spreading.
