Abdullahian: Bilateral Relations with Syria are strategic

Tehran, SANA- Special Assistant to Speaker of Iran’s Shura Council Hussein Amir Abdullahian emphasized that “his country’s relations with Syria are strategic stressing the importance of the two countries’ cooperation in fighting terrorism”.

In a statement to al-Alam News channel on Sunday, Abdullahian, also confirmed that “Syria’s steadfastness foiled the American plans in the region.

He hailed the great achievements and victories by the Syrian Arab Army with the support of its friends and allies on terrorism”.

Abdullahian indicated that “the presence of Iranian advisers in Syria came as a response to an official invitation by the Syrian government, clarifying that they would stay in Syria as long as the Syrian government want that”.

The Iranian diplomat stressed that “his country will continue to support the Palestinian cause until the liberation of al-Quds and all occupied territories”.
