SANA harvests seven awards at the Syrian Media Festival

Damascus, SANA_ The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) harvested seven awards at the third Syrian Media Festival organized by the Journalists’ Union.

SANA got the first prize as the best website in terms of content,  the first and second prizes of the best sports article, the first and second prizes of the best sports photo.

SANA also won the second prize of the best topic related to the martyrs and the wounded and the second prize for the best photo.

In a statement to reporters, Information Minister Imad Sarah underlined the great responsibility of Syrian information, calling on journalists to come closer to the concerns and aspirations of the citizen.

Member of the Central Leadership of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party, Dr. Mahdi Dakhlallah, highlighted the great development achieved in Syrian information despite the low potentials, pointing out to the attempts of preventing Syrian information from conveying the truth abroad.

The 3^rd Syrian Media Festival was launched on Saturday evening  under the title of “The Golan” at the Damascus-based Opera house in presence of Arab media delegations.

In 2018 2^nd  Syrian Media Festival was launched under the title of “Victory Tale”.

In 2017, the Journalists’ Union organized the  1^st Syrian Media Festival under the title of “Resilience Tale”.
