Tehran, Beijing reaffirm necessity of continuing to combat terrorism in Syria

Tehran, SANA- China and Iran reaffirmed the necessity of continuing to combat terrorism in Syria and preserving its sovereignty over all of its territories.

During their meeting in Tehran on Sunday, China’s Special Envoy for Syria, Ambassador Xie Xiaoyan and Iranian Foreign Minister’s Senior Assistant in Special Political Affairs Ali-Asghar Khaji affirmed Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and the necessity of the return of the displaced to their homeland and their participation in the reconstruction.

The two sides also discussed the latest political and field developments on the regional and international levels.
