Two civilians killed in terrorist mortar attack on neighborhood in Damascus

Damascus, SANA – Two civilians were killed and eight others were injured when terrorists fired a mortar round at al-Dwaila’ah residential neighborhood in Damascus.

A source at the Damascus Police Command told SANA that the mortar round fell near al-Huda Mosque in the neighborhood, claiming the lives of two civilians, injuring eight others, and damaging a number of shops.

One electricity worker killed in a terrorist bombing near Adra

Meanwhile, an electricity worker was killed and many others were wounded while they were mending one of the high voltage towers near Adra in Damascus countryside.

A source at the Electricity Ministry told SANA that an explosive device, planted by armed terrorist organizations before they were defeated in Adra, went off while the workers were mending one of the power lines, claiming the life of worker Khaled al-Ali.

Other workers were also injured, some of them in critical condition.
