Damascus, SANA-Information Minister Imad Sara discussed on Thursday with Massimo Diana, Representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Syria, means to enhance joint cooperation.
During the meeting, the Minister affirmed the need to activate the role of the UNFPA in the field of programs and activities that support the most affected segments by terrorism in Syria such as women, children and persons with disabilities.
Diana affirmed the UNFPA readiness to enhance cooperation and coordination with Information Ministry in Syria in order to serve the common objectives, especially issues related to youths and women.
