Woman injured due to rocket attack on Bab Touma, Damascus

Damascus, SANA – A woman was injured as armed groups fired shells on Bab Touma neighborhood in Damascus City in a new breach of the de-escalation zone agreement in Eastern Ghouta.

A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA that armed groups positioned in parts of the Eastern Ghouta in Damascus Countryside fired two shells on Bab Touma neighborhood, injuring a woman and causing material damage to properties.

Units of Syrian Arab Army directed strikes on the areas from where the shells were fired in the Eastern Ghouta, destroying a number of launching pads and inflicting losses upon the armed groups.

Material damage in Homs as a result of shelling attack

Armed groups attacked the village of Jaborin in Homs with shells.

Material damage was caused to private and public properties due to the shells, which were fired by armed groups positioned in the northern countryside of Homs, SANA’s reporter said.

The reporter added that an army unit responded by targeting the sites from which the shells were launched, destroying a number of launching pads and inflicting losses upon militants.
