Damascus, SANA- Rain fell in most Syrian provinces over the past two days as the heaviest amounts of rain were recorded 49mm in Sweida and 46mm in Daraa provinces.
The rain amounts in the Syrian provinces during the past 24 hours till 07:00 o’clock on Saturday morning were as follows: 15mm in Damascus, 41 mm in Damascus countryside, 37mm in Quneitra, 7mm in Hama, 6,5mm in Tartous, 6mm in Aleppo, 21,2mm in Lattakia and 10 in Hasaka.
Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that temperatures will rise to become around average as the country is affected by a low pressure in all layers of the atmosphere accompanied by a wet and cold air.
The Department added that the skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy sometimes; rain showers are expected on various areas across the country, warning against the formation of fog in the inland areas and frost and ice in the mountains.
The wind will be northwesterly of low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be moderate in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 11/02, Daraa 10/04, Homs 12/02, Hama 10/06, Lattakia 15/09, Aleppo 11/02 and Deir Ezzor 12/04.
