Damascus, SANA- Electricity Minister Mohammad Zouheir Kharboutli and his Iraqi counterpart Qasim Mohammad al-Fahadawi signed on Thursday a minutes on electricity linkage agreement that includes the phases of its procedures and schedules.
Earlier, the Iraqi Minister arrived in Damascus on Tuesday along with a technical team to complete the Syrian-Iraqi electricity linkage project and put a schedule to define, implement, and re-run two high voltage lines which would transmit electricity between the two countries.
