Massar concludes the activities of “My Right to Learn with a Book”

Damascus, SANA –Massar program concluded the activities of its project “My Right to Learn with a Book” which is a part of its “With a Book” campaign at the Old Fairgrounds in Damascus, an event organized on occasion of International Children’s Day.

The event included educational and entertaining activities, in addition to a concert by the Solhi al-Wadi Institute Orchestra.

The “My Right to Learn with a Book” project aims at developing abilities and talents and raising awareness and responsibility in the younger generations through an educational interactive environment.

Project Director Afaf al-Akhel told SANA’s reporter that at the end of the campaign, they will collect the books that the children donated and then distribute them to local schools and the “Social Beacons” of Syria Trust for Development.

Massar Communication Director Lara Krikodryan said that the one-week event made donating a book or a storybook an entry fee to encourage children to read.
