Damascus, SANA- the Cabinet held a weekly session on Tuesday, chaired by Prime Minister Imad Khamis, saluting the Syrian Arab Army on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of its foundation.
The Cabinet affirmed that the army has defended the Arab rights, adding that it has carried on battles of honors and heroism against forces of global terrorism and their cheap tools to preserve Syria’s unity, independence and the dignity of the Syrian people.
Later, it discussed a draft law on amending some of the rules of the Basic Law of State Employees No. 50 for 2004.
The Cabinet also discussed a number of economic and service issues.
