Damascus, SANA- Upon directives of President Bashar al-Assad, the Cabinet on Tuesday endorsed addition of financial credits to finance a group of vital service and developmental projects to be completed within the current year which would contribute to improving the service situation and enhancing the economic development in the city of Aleppo and its countryside.
During its weekly session, headed by Prime Minister Eng. Hussein Arnous, the cabinet approved completing the rehabilitation of 4,400 hectares of the Aleppo southern plains, with a cost of SYP 2 billion, irrigation of the villages of Khnaser, with a cost of SYP 2.9 billion and the first stage of irrigating the villages on Jib Ghabsha al-Sin axis, with a cost of SYP 2 billion.
The Cabinet also approved completing the infrastructure of al-Bashaer Souk for tourism and heritage, with a cost of SYP 2 billion, establishing the executive study to irrigate the villages of Aleppo southern countryside, installing 150 power transmission centers, 100 centers for Aleppo city and 50 centers in the countryside of the province, in addition to completing the project to equipping the oncology hospital.
The cabinet also discussed a number of domestic issues.
