More than SYP 2,600 billion to compensate damages caused by recent storm in Lattakia province

Damascus, SANA- The Cabinet, during its session on Tuesday, approved allocating more than SYP 2,600 billion to the Mitigation of Drought Effects and Natural Disasters Fund  to compensate the damages caused by the recent storm in Lattakia province.

Chaired by Prime Minister, Engineer Hussein Arnous, the Cabinet also authorized the Agriculture and Agrarian Reform Ministry to supervise the compensation disbursements according to precise schedules and data.
