Damascus, SANA – Varying amounts of rainfalls have been witnessed in several provinces across the country.
According to the Meteorology Department, the heaviest amounts of rainfalls were witnessed in Wadi Qandil in Lattakia province (47 mm).
The department’s bulletin for Friday expected temperatures to remain below average as the country is affected by law air pressure accompanied by wet air mass in all layers of the atmosphere.
It will be partly cloudy and rainy over various areas in the country, noting that the rain showers are expected, and that they will be accompanied with thunder.
The winds will be southeasterly of low and moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low to moderate in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 13/06, Daraa 13/06, Homs 15/05, Hama 16/06, Lattakia 17/11, Aleppo 11/05 and Deir Ezzor 18/05.
