Information Minister: Lifting sanctions on Syria represents a new birth after liberation

Damascus, SANA- Minister of Information,Dr. Hamza al-Mustafa, said Wednesday that lifting sanctions imposed on Syria represents a new birth after freedom and liberation and opens new doors to start the recovery and reconstruction process.

“The Syrian diplomacy efforts were crowned with success through the appreciated support of friendly Arab countries that sincerely stood by the new Syria,” minister al-Mustafa said Wednesday in a statement posted on (X) platform.

The minister went on saying that lifting sanctions represents an achievement for all Syrians, regardless of their segments and components, by eliminating the negative legacy caused by the former regime over decades.

He underlined that the reconstruction process would begin soon, and everyone is called upon to fortify gains through preserving civil peace and national unity and thus providing a safe and stable environment to uplift the country and develop it.

Minister Mustafa asserted that Syrians were rejoicing in the squares and streets, and they extend sincere thanks to everyone give a hand to reach this achievement.
