Beirut, Sept.6 (SANA) Four people were killed and 20 others injured Sunday in a series of Israeli occupation strikes on Nabatieh and surrounding areas in southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry.
Lebanon’s National News Agency cited the ministry as saying strikes on Arabsalim, Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Kfar Rumman and Nabatieh killed four people, including two women, and injured 20 others.
Other strikes hit part of Ghandour Hospital and a historic building and caused extensive damage to the Regional Finance Department and the Agriculture Department building in Nabatieh. Dozens of shops and cafes near the strike site were damaged.
An Israeli drone carried out a strike targeting a motorcycle on the Nabatieh-Nabatieh al-Fawqa road and another on the al-Deir neighborhood in the area.
Israeli occupation aircraft carried out a series of strikes around Talat al-Dabsha, while Israeli occupation artillery intermittently shelled Dawhat Kfar Rumman.
A woman was killed and five other people were injured Saturday in Israeli strikes on villages and towns in southern Lebanon.
