Washington, Aug. 20 (SANA) The U.S. military said it had intercepted and diverted 65 commercial vessels bound for Iran as of August 19 as part of a blockade on Iranian ports.
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said on X Wednesday that it had diverted 65 commercial vessels, disabled three and inspected two others to ensure compliance with restrictions imposed under the blockade.
The U.S. military said on August 15 that it had diverted 62 vessels since the blockade on Iranian ports was reimposed.
