Idleb, SANA – The branch of the Syrian Grain Organization in Idleb province received quantities of wheat provided as a gift from the Iraqi government to support the Syrian people.
The process of receiving wheat provided by the brotherly Republic of Iraq is ongoing, Director of the Organization’s branch in Idleb province, Diaa al-Ali, told SANA reporter, articulating that 45 trucks loaded with wheat have arrived and work is underway to empty them into the province’s silos.
Earlier, General Director of The Syrian Public Establishment for Grain (SPEG) , Engineer Hassan Othman, affirmed that the distribution of the 220,000-ton grant of wheat is being conducted based on a careful study of each province’s needs, in order to ensure the delivery of wheat to the areas most in need.
