Amman, Jan.8 (SANA) Jordan and the European Union reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Syria’s stability and territorial integrity.
In a closing statement of their first summit held Thursday in Amman, the two sides stressed the importance of working together to ensure Syria’s unity, sovereignty, independence and the well‑being and prosperity of its people.
Jordanian news Agency, Petra, said both sides renewed their support for the roadmap announced last September by Syria, Jordan and the United States to achieve stability in southern Syria.
The statement also highlighted the importance of cooperation in supporting efforts aimed at stability and reconciliation, institution‑building, reconstruction and socio‑economic recovery in Syria.
