Damascus. Feb.9 (SANA) Syria’s Central Bank Governor met with a French development delegation on Monday to discuss cooperation in the financial and banking sectors, including projects aimed at strengthening financial stability.
Central Bank Governor Abdulkader HusriehAbdulkader Husrieh discussed areas of cooperation with officials from the French Development Agency, led by Anne Isambert, the agency’s deputy director for Lebanon and Syria.
The talks focused on developing financial systems, exchanging expertise and building institutional capacity as part of broader efforts to modernize Syria’s financial sector.
The French Development Agency supports economic, social and environmental development projects worldwide.
