Provinces, SANA – Army units launched large scaled military operations against terrorists’ gatherings, killing many terrorists and injuring others in several areas around the country.
An army unit thwarted terrorists’ infiltration attempt towards Wadi al-Daif near Maaret al-Noman in the northern province of Idleb. Many terrorists were killed and others were wounded during the operation.
Army units targeted several gatherings of terrorists in the towns and villages of Atman, al-Hrak, Inkhel, Nawa and Khirbet al-J’eiliyeh and on al-Yadoudeh-Daraa road in the countryside of Daraa, killing and injuring a number of the terrorists.
A military source told SANA that a unit of the army destroyed a vehicle equipped with a heavy machinegun and foiled a terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate from Salmin town towards Zamrin in Daraa countryside and eliminated a number of the terrorists.
Other army units destroyed a number of cars which the terrorists were using in al-Na’imiyeh and others that were passing from al-Ghariyeh al-Shrqiyeh towards al-Hrak and al-Sourah, leaving all terrorists aboard the cars dead.
Terrorists were also killed and others were injured when an army unit targeted their gathering in Breiqa in the countryside of Quneitra.
Army units targeted gatherings and dens of terrorists in several areas and neighborhoods in the city and countryside of the northern province of Aleppo.
The operations were centered in a-Haidariyeh, Fafeen, al-Manasher, to the east of al-Sfeira, Balat, Abla, Khanaser, Kafar Kar, Salah-Eddin, al-Ameriyeh, al-Bab, Tadef and Tiba farms, according to a military source.
Many terrorists were killed in the operations.
The source told SANA reporter that an army unit killed more than ten terrorists and injured others in al-Sheikh S’eed area, while another unit destroyed a number of cars the terrorists were using in Khan al-Assal and al-Bab, killing all the terrorists abroad them.
An army unit repelled a group of terrorists who were trying to infiltrate from Jisr al-Kharab towards the farms of al-Waar area in Homs, leaving numbers of them dead and wounded.
A military source told SANA that army units targeted gatherings of terrorists in the mountains of Arsal, Tweina, Wadi al-Samarmar, Ein Hussein and Talbiseh in the countryside and in al-Waar neighborhood in the city. Many terrorists were killed or injured during the operations.
Other terrorists were also killed when an army unit destroyed a pickup truck in al-Shaer mountain in Palmyra countryside.
An army unit killed a number of terrorists, including their leader, who were attempting to sneak into Zgharo village in the northern countryside of Lattakia.
A military source told SANA that the army units targeted Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists’ dens in Ghmam, Zahiyeh, Ein al-Jouzeh, al-Ma’itmeh, Doreen and al-Shmayseh villages in the northern countryside of the province, killing and injuring many of them, in addition to destroying a number of their cars equipped with heavy machine guns.
Residents of al-Eshra village in Hasaka repel terrorists
Residents of al-Eshra village in the eastern countryside of Hasaka province repelled terrorists who had attempted to sneak into the village and attack its residents.
A source at the Police Command told SANA that citizens of al-Eshra village, which is located 15 Km to the east of Hasaka city, killed two terrorists and injured others.
Units of the Syrian Arab Army eliminated scores of terrorists, including foreign mercenaries from Afghanistan, Kuwait and Tunisia, and destroyed their weapons and ammunition that included a heavy machinegun in a series of operations against their dens and gatherings in a several areas in Damascus countryside.
SANA reporter said that 33 terrorists, most of them are foreigners and an Afghani terrorist called “Abu-Jafar al-Afghani, a Kuwaiti terrorist called “Khaled Abdullah al-Hayan” have been killed and a vehicle equipped with a heavy machinegun and an amount of weapons and ammunition were destroyed in an operation carried by a unit of the army in the surrounding of Bassimeh town in Wadi Barada area.
Other terrorists were killed or injured and their weapons were destroyed in another operation by an army unit in Huraira mountains in al-Zabadani, including Mohammad Fouad Safieh, and Basel Abdullah Yasmineh.
In eastern Ghouta, army units clashed with terrorists in the southern and eastern al-Mliha farms and eliminated scores of them, while an army unit killed 14 terrorists and destroyed their weapons in Ein Tarma area.
Another army unit killed a number of terrorists, some of them are non-Syrians, including a Tunisian terrorists called “Abu al-Yaman” in al-Hajar al-Aswad area.
Meanwhile, an army unit pursued terrorists in Harasta area and destroyed two cars with weapons and ammunition inside them and killed and injured a number of them.
In Douma area, a number of terrorists were eliminated, including Ahmad Izzo al-Malhan, while army units continued their operations storming terrorist dens in Jobar neighborhood.
