Homs, SANA – Popular delegations headed on Wednesday to Monastery of St. George Patriarchal Rubella in al-Mishtaieh in Wadi al-Nadara area in Homs and stressed that the Syrian family is united and will continue living in peace, fraternity and amity in Syria.
Meeting Patriarch John X Yazigi of Antioch and All The East at the monastery, the delegations pointed out that what is happening in Syria is a conspiracy that targets the Muslims and Christians of the homeland, reiterating commitment to remain in Syria along with their Muslim brothers.
The participants prayed for God to protect Syria and its leadership and army and to go back as it was before a home for peace ad amity.
They expressed that the Patriarch’s visit to their area is a source of pride and amity for them, stressing that they will not abandon Syria whose sons will remain united.
