Damascus, SANA – Participants in the second preparatory meeting of the World Organization for Resistant Youth reiterated their support to Syria’s people, army and leadership in their war against terrorism, saying that Aleppo victory will pave the way to liberate all Syrian territories including the occupied Syrian Golan and Liwa Iskandaron.
The remarks came at the conclusion of the two-day event held at Kaisar Palace Hotel in Damascus with the participation of 60 representatives from 37 youth organizations from Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan, Libya, Tunisia, Yemen and Sudan.
In their final statement, the participants called for unifying efforts to confront terrorism and standing by Syria, Palestine, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Egypt and all terror-affected states, hailing the role of Russia, Iran, China and BRICS Group states in this regard.
In a press statement, Head of the Revolutionary Youth Union Ma’an Aboud said that the meeting precedes the conference due to be held in May, noting that youth organizations should have an effective and influential role in combating takfiri terrorism.
Other participants saw in this meeting an attempt to thwart imperialist and Zionist schemes aimed at defragmenting the region.
The World Organization for Resistant Youth is a world non-governmental independent organization which aims at unifying efforts of resistant youth movements around the world, defending fair causes and providing support to Resistance against occupation, besiege and domination.
It also attempts to enhance the youths’ contribution to political process, decision-making and comprehensive development.
