600 people, including 250 militants, have their legal status settled in Damascus Countryside

Damascus Countryside, SANA – Around 600 people from the towns of Zakiyeh and al-Deirkhabiyeh in Damascus Countryside had their legal status settled on Saturday in the framework of the local reconciliations and according to the Amnesty Decree no. 15 for 2016.

According to SANA reporter, 250 out of 600 persons are militants who had earlier turned themselves in and handed over their weapons to the authorities.

The militants pledged not to carry out any acts that might harm peace and security in the country.
