Peskov: UN mustn’t ignore evidence of atrocities committed by terrorists in Aleppo

Moscow, SANA – Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov called on the United Nations to not ignore the evidence of the atrocities committed by terrorists in Aleppo, saying that it’s inappropriate for these atrocities to elicit no response.

In a statement on Wednesday, Peskov said that what is shown by the media and journalists on the ground in Aleppo proves that locals are cheerfully and spontaneously welcoming the liberation of the eastern part of the city, while the reports issued by the UN contradict this reality and these scenes and try to claim that the Syrian Army is killing civilians in Aleppo.
